Fra Elia was born in 1962 in the Apulia region of Italy. Already as a child he was favoured with supernatural communications, and, during Lent, he was unable to eat, Neither his family nor physicians understood why. After being employed by the Postal Service, he entered with the Capuchin Friars.

When, at 27 years of age, the stigmata appear, Fra Elia vehemently refuses them. He even leaves the Capuchin convent hoping that they would cease... but no! He then returns to a monastery to study his religious vocation. Finally he understood and accepted his vocation: he will be an 'Apostle of God' in the world and for the world. In his own way he will follow Padre Pio's mission.

Every Friday Brother Elijah's sufferings are more painful, and every year, he suffers the Passion during Holy Week. Attested to by prominent medical specialists, he actually dies on Good Friday at three o'clock and is reborn in the same way that Christ did 2000 years ago.

Guided by his guardian angel, Brother Elijah has many charismatic gifts, notably those of exorcism, bi-location, and of healing.

In Volume 1, Brother Elijah: Charisms and Stigmata, the author, Fiorella Turolli, presented the story of this extraordinary man who walks in the footsteps of Padre Pio.

In this second volume, she makes us experience the beginnings of the Congregation of the Apostles of God, the search for a convent through meetings and first missions, interspersed with miraculous events supported by many testimonies. The life of Brother Elijah is a concrete manifestation of the love of God.

During Holy Week of 2003, Brother Elijah was the object of studies and monitoring on the part of Dr. Marco Margnelli, an expert in supernatural phenomena. His research was presented on Italian television in the broadcast Miracoli.
