Written at the command of Jesus Christ, this Diary contains the heavenly communications given by Our Lord and Our Lady to Elizabeth Kindelman, Third Order Carmelite, between the years 1961 and 1982.

At the National Congress of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary movement in Budapest, Hungary on June 6, 2009, Cardinal Péter Erdö, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest and President of the Council of Episcopal Conferences in Europe, gave the text his Imprimatur.

With the spread of The Flame of Love movement around the world, the Spiritual Diary has also received Imprimaturs from Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, and the United States.
