Unfortunately, many have been educated to believe that Confession is not necessary. Often they are told that their relationship with God is personal and should be guided by one's own conscience.

This leaflet explains why this approach is unfounded, because it denies the individual soul the great graces waiting to be poured out from the Merciful Heart of Jesus by means of this great Sacrament.
